Do you offer special rates?

Yes. Chaplin's World offers special rates up on presentation of official documentation substantiating your current situation. See our various offers and rates in the "Opening Hours and Rates" section.

Can I show my ticket on my smartphone?

Yes. Following your online purchase you will receive and email with your ticket in .pdf form. You can show this at the entry gate as long as the barcode on the ticket is visible on your Smartphone and can be read by the scanner.

What means of payment are accepted at the on-site ticket office?

• Cash: only Swiss Francs (Euro not accepted)
• Credit and debit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Dinner Club, JCR, Union Pay, La Poste, and Maestro)
• We do not accept checks.

Can I pay with REKA checks?

No. REKA checks are not accepted at the Chaplin's World ticket office.

Are group visits available at Chaplin's World?

Yes. Specific support service and reduced rates are available to groups. Please consult our "Groups" section, or call +41 (0)21 903 01 30.

Can I use an ICOM card Chaplin's World?

No. Chaplin's World is a S.A. and is not registered at ICOM (International Council of Museums).

The grounds are closed on 25th December and 1st January.

Yes. All of Chaplin's World is. It is also pram and wheelchairs friendly.

Is there a visitors' car park at Chaplin's World?

Yes. A 200-space car park is available to Chaplin's World visitors.

Can camper vans stay overnight in the Chaplin's World car park?

No. Camper vans are not authorised to stay overnight in the car park.

Can I come with a pet?

No. Dogs and other pets are not allowed on the grounds. Exceptions are made for seeing-eye dogs.

How long is an average visit?

The average visit lasts 2.30 hours.

What languages can I choose from at Chaplin's World?

The signs and displays are in English, French and German.

A guided tour of the Manoir for mobile and tablet devices is also available free of charge in English, French and German. Download is available from our website, and at the ticket office.

Does Chaplin's World have air conditioning?

The entire Studio building is air-conditioned. The Manoir is equipped with a demand-controlled ventilation system.

Can I take photos or video at Chaplin's World?

Yes. The use of photo and video cameras is allowed at Chaplin's World. Feel free to take photos of yourself and share your experience on social media! Do not forget to use the hashtag #ChaplinsWorld

Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available in some spaces of the buildings such as the shop and the entrance of the Manoir.

Are there toilets for visitors?

Yes. Toilets are available near the entrance, as well as at the Manoir. There are no toilets in the Studio.

Are there nursery tables ?

Yes. Baby changing tables are available in the toilets of the farm.

Is there a luggage office?

No. However we can take care of your small belonging at the reception. Chaplin's World accepts no liability for the loss or theft of items placed in the lockers.

Does Chaplin's World provide accommodation?

No, but accommodation matching your criteria can be found through the Montreux Riviera website.

The Chaplin's World restaurant and shop

Can I picnic in the park?

No. Picnic is not allowed in the Museum spaces (The Park, Studio and Manoir). The park is a protected natural landscape. As such we ask our visitors to respect the diversity of plant and tree species. There is no picnic area but the cafe-restaurant The Tramp is open all day from 10 am.
