  • Yes, Chaplin's World applies preferential rates to visitors with disabilities, groups and people who opt for a dated ticket (bookable at least 2 days in advance).

    We invite you to consult the different products and prices in the ‘Tickets and Smile Pass’ section.

  • No, you don't need to reserve if you're coming as an individual.

    However, for groups (15 people or more), it is mendatory to make a reservation via the form at least 5 working days before the date of the visit.

  • Yes, special facilities and preferential rates are available for groups.

  • Ticket offices close 1 hour before museum closing time. 

  • No. REKA checks are not accepted at the Chaplin's World ticket office.

  • • Cash: only Swiss Francs (Euro not accepted)
    • Credit and debit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Dinner Club, JCR, Union Pay, La Poste, and Maestro)
    • We do not accept checks.

  • Yes. Following your online purchase you will receive and email with your ticket in .pdf form. You can show this at the entry gate as long as the barcode on the ticket is visible on your Smartphone and can be read by the scanner.

  • No. Chaplin's World is a S.A. and is not registered at ICOM (International Council of Museums).

  • No. For health and safety reasons, pets (with the exception of guide dogs for the visually impaired and people with reduced mobility) are not allowed inside Chaplin's World.

  • No. Camper vans are not authorised to stay overnight in the car park.

  • Chaplin's World will be closed on January 1, 2026 and from January 5 to 16, 2026 for the annual closure.

  • Yes, a 200-space pay car park is available for visitors to Chaplin's World.

    We offer a flat rate of CHF 5.00 for the duration of your visit on presentation of your ticket at the ticket office or shop. 

  • The average visit lasts 2.30 hours.

  • The entire Studio building is air-conditioned. The Manoir is equipped with a demand-controlled ventilation system.

  • Chaplin's World is aimed at people, young and old, who wish to learn about the life and work of Charlie Chaplin.

  • The signs and displays are in English, French and German.

    A guided tour of the Manoir for mobile and tablet devices is also available free of charge in English, French and German. Download is available from our website, and at the ticket office.

  • Yes. Toilets are available near the entrance, as well as at the Manoir. There are no toilets in the Studio.

  • No, there is no luggage office at Chaplin's World

  • Yes. Baby changing tables are available in the toilets of the farm.

  • Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available in some spaces of the buildings such as the shop and the entrance of the Manoir.

  • No, picnics are not permitted in the paying areas (Studio, Manoir, Park) of Chaplin's World. As the Park is landscaped and protected, we ask visitors to be respectful of the plantations and different species of trees. Picnics are not permitted on the tables at Café The Tramp.

    Picnic tables are available on the edge of the forest at the parking lot.
